Senior Counsel

Charles J. Seigel, a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, has focused his practice primarily in landlord-tenant litigation since his admission to the Bar in 1981.  His substantial experience of almost forty years includes both motion practice and conduct of trials in all counties of the Civil Court of the City of New York, and related Supreme Court actions and proceedings. 

 

He has had both prosecuted and defended appeals in the First and Second Departments of the Appellate Term and Appellate Division.  Mr. Seigel also has experience in administrative proceedings, having litigated matters before the DHCR; Environmental Control Board, and the Department of Buildings.

 

Mr. Seigel is highly regarded and respected within the legal community for his litigation skills as well as his legal writing.  Mr. Seigel has penned many forms, pleadings, and documents that have become the foundation of many legal papers currently used within the industry.
