Carla Bautista is a Senior Attorney at Lazarus Karp Ehrlich McCourt, LLP, where she concentrates her practice on residential holdover proceedings, nonpayment proceedings, and plenary actions. She has extensive litigation experience and has successfully represented clients before New York City Housing Courts, Civil Courts, and the New York State Supreme Courts.

Carla earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2015. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History, with a minor in Growth & Structure of Cities, from Haverford College. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.

In her free time, Carla is an avid fan of women’s basketball and rarely misses a New York Liberty game. She also enjoys catching live music and exploring New York City’s vibrant concert scene.
